Question:
Are child harnesses a good idea for toddler safety? I've used one for my toddler, but I sometimes get dirty looks.

Answer:

When it comes to deciding whether or not to use a child harness, toddler safety should be your top consideration. Toddlers love to explore, and giving them the opportunity to scurry around freely is important for their development. But if you have an exceptionally active or curious tot, a child harness can make crowded shopping areas or busy parking lots safer environments.
