Is my 1-month-old supposed to burp after every bottle feeding?

What happens if my 1-month-old baby does not always burp after she is bottle-fed?

Don't worry—no baby burps every single time. If she hasn't burped after several minutes and you've tried putting her over your shoulder, having her sit upright on your lap, or laying her on her tummy on your lap to get burps out, then resume feeding. If she is often fussy with her feedings or spits up a lot, discuss this with your health care provider at her next visit.
