Question
Does our 10-month-old need to be bathed whenever she has worn sunscreen?
Answer
It's not necessary to bathe your
baby again after applying sunscreen. Many people do shower or bathe again after a period of time outside, just as much to remove any perspiration as well as any residual sunscreen. It's a choice of comfort rather than a necessity.
Bubble bath can sometimes be an irritant to skin and the genital area, so I would recommend avoiding it for now. But help your
baby have fun at bath time with a few safe bath toys.
