NEED SMALLER SIZES!!

wrkngmom13 June 01, 2011

I used these with my son when he was a baby and loved them. Now, my daughter is a very petite 6 month old (13lbs) and they are huge on her! I took a chance hoping they would fit, but now I'm stuck with a whole package. I guess I will have to save them for next year. I don't understand why the are not available in smaller sizes. Smaller babies like the water too!!

NEVER AGAIN

lakergrl05 November 10, 2011

Never again will I purchase pampers little splashers. My daughter is 11 months old and is very tall for her age but very skinny. she is barely 18 lbs. The little splashers have way to much of a weight distribution. the 3-4 size falls right off her butt. they need to make smaller sizes for smaller babies

Need to make smaller

Katrina8116 April 11, 2012

We started our son in swim classes when he was 7 months old. The class required the kids to wear swim diapers. Well my son was only about 15 lbs and the smallest swim diaper was a 3-4. They fell right off him! I had to duct tape the diaper so it would stay on him. I was very disappointed that there were not smaller sizes available. There are kids of all sizes and now it is very common to start babies in swim classes very young. I am not even sure if the swim diapers will fit him this summer as he is still in size 2 Swaddlers.

I'm sorry the Size 3-4 Splashers didn't work for you little guy. I'll definitely let the rest of our team know you'd like to see smaller sizes. Thanks for the review.

Works as advertised.

First, please note that no swim diaper is going to hold urine in. It is designed to hold in bowel movements only. Be aware of this. Don't put it on before you drive to the beach or pool b/c you may end up with a wet car seat. This is not a defect of the product, all swim diapers are like this. If they absorbed the urine then they would also absorb the pool water and then what is the point. I love the ease of the tear apart sides. My daughter loves the Elmo and Doro designs. I used them all last summer and am already stocked up for this summer.

Peed right through

ldycerisemjr June 03, 2012

I was going to take my son to the pool but when we got there the pool was closed. I left him in the swim diaper because I was going to set up his baby pool when we got home from running a couple of errands. He wasn't even in the swim diaper 2 1/2 hours and was sopping wet. HE had peed right through it and his stroller was soaking wet as well. When I took his diaper off urine literally ran out of it like I was pouring it out. I was very disappointed I use pampers baby dry and cruisers diapers all the time on my son and haven't had a problem. I was honestly expecting the same quality.

Response from Pampers

Dee, Consumer Care June 08, 2012

I’m sorry you experienced leakage with Pampers Splashers. Our number one purpose at Pampers is about caring for babies, so these comments mean a lot to us. I’m sure that was frustrating and I'm letting the rest of our team know about what happened. The swim pant is designed to help a child while in the water and not to swell in water. • It is not to be worn like a regular disposable pant or diaper. • The amount it will hold depends on: • The amount of urine/bm • Different activities in the water • Posture and activity level of the child • The fit of the swim pant on the child Hope this helps!
