The Smolinski Family
This growing family isn't about to slow down. Aaron spends his days as an executive assistant, and Lauren studies early childhood education while staying home with their active son, Logan. At 2 ½ years old, Logan is hardly a baby anymore. In fact, he's about to become a big brother. Watch as the family tackles things like potty training, new siblings, discipline, and baby showers.

Logan Smolinksi was born on 9/18/2007. He is full of energy and spark. He is now the proud big brother of baby Addyson. He loves playing outside, riding his scooter, going to the beach, and being with his Labrador retriever Oliver. He especially loves playing hockey with his daddy and helping mommy with whatever she needs. His most recent accomplishment was starting preschool, which he loves. He keeps his mommy and daddy very busy and cannot wait for Addyson to come home so he can teach her lots of new things.

This video truly brought some tears to my eyes. You can totally see the love that both the mother and the father have for Logan. It reminded me of my own family as well. My husband and I have a 16 month old daughter who is now starting test our limits to see how far both mom and dad will allow her to go. I've often wondered why my daughter only pinches and slaps me and never does it to my husband or anyone else. This video showed some light on what's going on in my situation. I think our daughter is playing on the soft spot I have for her because she knows it's there. I will put her in time out after several warnings and re-direction attempts but the time out is always sitting in my lap while I hold her arms down and we just sit there doing nothing. After I let her off my lap, I again explain to her how it's not okay to hurt people. My husband is more stern with her so he can teach her it's not okay to pinch or to slap mommy or anyone else; it is apparently working better than my own method. I think it's time to re-evaluate the way I handle the disciplinary issues since I am usually the one who is home with her. Thanks Pampers for the video and thanks to the Smolinksi family for doing this episode. It helped shed light on my own household!
