Collect close-up snapshots of your family, and tuck them into resealable sandwich bags or a sturdy mini-photo album. You can also place photos between clear laminate sheets, have them laminated at a copy store, or use trading-card protectors to hold them. The idea is to make it easy for your baby to hold, handle, and even mouth the photos.

If you laminate the photos, punch a hole in the top left corner of each and add a shower curtain ring or key ring to hold them together. Attach a couple of plastic play links to the key ring, and hang the pack of photos from your baby's stroller, infant seat, high chair, or crib. Variation: Slip your photos into a plush photo cube made just for small children.
