Potty Progress Book
Give your child a visual way to keep track of his progress.
How it Plays
Buy your child a colorful blank book or notebook and a selection of stickers. Mark the pages with consecutive dates. Explain that each day he'll get to start a new page of his scrapbook and that he'll be allowed to affix a small sticker for each time he pees in the potty and a large one for each time he poops. Keep the book in the bathroom so it's right there when he needs it, and count up the stickers every night as your child uses the potty for the last time. You can also add rewards. For example, on days when he's earned more than five stickers, he gets a cookie or small toy.
What You'll Need
What better way for your child to practice counting than by totaling up his stickers (and successes in the potty) each day?
