Caring for babies also means caring for the planet they will grow up in.

For over 50 years, caring for babies’ happy healthy development has been at the heart of everything we do at Pampers®. We do this by providing safe and high-quality products to keep them protected, and by helping parents, hospitals and local communities through various support programs.
But we want and need to do more. So today we are excited to announce Pampers® 7 Acts for Good program, to care for babies and the planet. The 7 Acts for Good are concrete actions we will take with our diapers and wipes, from when they are made, to when they’re disposed of.

We are making premature diapers available to the increasing population of premature babies born every year, and we provide accessible diapering products to populations in need.

The 7 Acts for Good journey has already started:

  • Diaper innovation. For over 20 years Pampers® has contributed to make diapers more and more effective by innovating and developing new ways of designing and making a diaper. A parent of today would be surprised to see how different the disposable diaper he used to wear as a baby are from what his baby wears: since then/the late 90s the diaper weight has been optimized by more than 40%!
  • New materials. The Pampers® Pure™ diapers and wipes were created, containing plant-based materials coming from responsible sources (such as cellulose, cotton and some derived from sugar cane) and made with 100% renewable electricity1 and zero manufacturing waste to landfill. • Less waste & resources. We have started the journey over 10 years ago and as of 2018,
    • We use on average 20% less energy during our production in our Family Care Plants, where our Pampers are produced in NA.
    • We have reduced our CO2 emission by nearly 20% since 2010 from these plants.
    • Earlier than planned these plants are already qualified as zero waste to landfill.
  • Caring for babies: Just in 2018 Pampers donated more than 42 million diapers and wipes to families in need3.

The 7 Acts for Good is our commitment to never stop caring for babies and the planet they will grow up in. It’s a journey we are excited to be on.
