Baby with parents

Babies make the world a better place for us all. That’s why Pampers is committed to making the planet a better place for them. We want to see a world where babies everywhere continue to grow and develop in a happy, healthy and sustainable way. Afterall, caring for the happy, healthy development of babies has been at the heart of everything we’ve done for over 50 years, and sustainability is an essential part of that promise. We are taking steps forward every day like little children learn to walk and we’re restless to do more. Caring for every baby and caring for their planet continues to be our commitment for today and tomorrow.

Caring for Every Baby

Our devotion to quality, safety, hygiene and health is uncompromising on 100% of our diapers and wipes we produce, for the millions of parents, caregivers, health care professionals, hospitals and communities who put their trust in us.

We want to give every baby in need the best start in life with the help of our products and partnerships. We are committed to providing our smallest diapers to the 1 million babies born before 28 weeks of gestational age each year.

These little fighters aren’t fully prepared for birth and therefore require a little extra support to grow and develop. We therefore designed our smallest diapers especially for them in collaboration with neonatal nurses.

Our Preemie Protection line-up not only provides the trusted protection and comfort of Pampers, it is also designed to minimize disruption, enhancing sleep and enabling kangaroo care – skin-to-skin contact with parents – needed to support his or her healthy development.

Many of us at Pampers are parents ourselves, and we share the belief that parents shouldn’t have to choose between what’s good for their baby and what’s good for the planet. That’s why we are committed by 2030 to make a difference on all of our environmental footprint actions and not only the visible ones. From innovating with new sustainable materials, to more sustainable production and leading sustainable solutions to give not only Pampers but all used diapers and wipes a second life. Steps are already in place to launch recycling facilities in five cities by 2023.

Hands holding a plant

We know all too well how quickly babies grow up. Blink and you’ll miss it. But because their development doesn’t stop, neither will we. We’ll continue to take steps in our journey to contribute to a more sustainable, happy, healthy future for every baby. Of course, like a baby learning to walk, those steps won’t always be easy, but we’re committed to taking them, one foot in front of the other.

Because caring for babies’ happy, healthy development means caring for the planet they’ll grow up in.
