Xaviera Plas

Xaviera Plas

Author and CEO of The Wonder Weeks

“Lumi by Pampers supports parents with the tools, and unique insight, tailored to their baby so they can feel comfortable and assured as they care for their baby’s everyday development. A baby’s brain grows rapidly in the first year of life and this is a critical period for learning and developing cognitively, physically and emotionally.”

Mom of three, Xaviera is CEO of The Wonder Weeks®, a book and app that tracks the 10 mental development leaps all babies make, on a predictable schedule during the first 20 months of their life. Knowing when those changes will occur, how a baby’s perception of the world changes, and what parents can do to help their little one, is a great comfort for new parents.

Dr. Craig Canapari

Dr. Craig Canapari

Pediatrician, Director of the Pediatric Sleep Center

“When I became a parent, I quickly learned that all my years of 36-hour hospital shifts didn't even come close to preparing me for the sleep deprivation that comes with parenthood. Babies undergo dynamic changes in the first year of life which directly impacts the duration and quality of their sleep. As a pediatric sleep specialist, I am excited about Lumi by Pampers and how it can help parents begin to better understand their baby’s habits (or patterns) and the correlation between sleep and development, and use that information to sleep train their baby.”

Dr. Craig Canapari is a pediatrician at Yale-New Haven Children’s Hospital, the Director of Sleep Medicine Program at Yale University, and a father of two. He is also the author of the recently published book, It’s Never Too Late to Sleep Train. Dr. Canapari earned a MD from the University of Connecticut and completed his residency in Pediatrics and fellowship in Pediatric Pulmonology at Massachusetts General Hospital.

Dr. Earl Young

Dr. Earl Young

Pediatrician

"After practicing pediatrics for more than 20 years, I understand that pediatric visits are opportunities for parents to ask developmental questions about their child and for doctors to offer helpful guidance on what to expect. For new parents, the importance of establishing routines for babies is essential. Lumi by Pampers can help parents achieve this by offering insight into their baby’s unique patterns."

Dr. Young is a board certified pediatrician and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He completed his medical training at Morehouse School of Medicine, and his residency at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Jersey.

Kylee Sallak

Kylee Sallak

Pediatric Sleep Consultant

“Everyday I speak with sleep-deprived parents who are seeking some advice and friendly guidance on how to get their baby into a routine, sleeping through the night and avoiding sleep regressions. What I love about Lumi by Pampers is that it takes some of the guesswork out of the most common stumbling block new parents face: Sleep! Lumi makes it easier for moms and dads to see and better understand their baby’s own unique rhythms and cues which is the first step to happy, healthy sleep habits.”
