Choosing the best diapers for your baby

Choosing the best diapers for your baby

Choosing the best diaper is difficult - make sure you identify all the features and identify the best diaper for your baby's needs.

Absorbency
A good diaper keeps wetness away from baby’s skin helping to protect against irritation, rashes, and chafing.

Softness and Stretch
A soft surface and stretchy sides gently protect baby’s delicate skin and comfortably adjusts to her shape.

A Wetness Indicator
A line on the diaper that turns from yellow to blue letting you know when it may be time for a change.

Shaped for Newborns
A cutout on the front of the diaper that goes around the umbilical stump, keeping it dry and exposed to air to help it heal.

Mom tips:

  • Newborns will need on average 7-8 diapers a day.
  • After the first few weeks, your baby may need only 5-6 diapers per day.
  • Remember newborns grow quickly and may only be in the smallest size for a few weeks.

Tried many but Pampers is best

06/26/2015

We tried so many diapers, but we would like to say that Pampers is the best. At the hospital they have huggies and pampers. We used all the pampers first, then tried the huggies and my son leaked through everytime he had the huggies on. Then when we came home my sister had bought us Luv and Earth something. The Earth ones did the same as the huggies and gave him a rash and the Luvs well they did okay but they do not soak up as much as Pampers.
