Choosing the best diapers for your baby

Choosing the best diapers for your baby

Choosing the best diaper is difficult - make sure you identify all the features and identify the best diaper for your baby's needs.

A good diaper keeps wetness away from baby’s skin helping to protect against irritation, rashes, and chafing.

Softness and Stretch
A soft surface and stretchy sides gently protect baby’s delicate skin and comfortably adjusts to her shape.

A Wetness Indicator
A line on the diaper that turns from yellow to blue letting you know when it may be time for a change.

Shaped for Newborns
A cutout on the front of the diaper that goes around the umbilical stump, keeping it dry and exposed to air to help it heal.

Mom tips:

  • Newborns will need on average 7-8 diapers a day.
  • After the first few weeks, your baby may need only 5-6 diapers per day.
  • Remember newborns grow quickly and may only be in the smallest size for a few weeks.

Love Swaddlers

Love Swaddlers! They keep the wetness away and the indicator is great.

Don't buy too many at once

My baby is growing so fast he's changing sizes much faster than most. It's best to buy one package at a time since your baby might grow faster than expected. That might be good to keep in mind when creating a registry containing diapers!

New Mom's "Tough" Choice

My confidence (and that of most of my mommy friends) in Pampers is so strong, that my son will be exclusive to Pampers until further notice... My main worry? Sensitive or classic!?

Best Diapers

Pampers are the best diapers around. I won't use any other brand.

Pampers are the best

I've exclusively used Pampers for all three of my children!
