Your baby’s safety is our priority. Pampers carefully selects each ingredient using trusted science and technology. We back our promise with a rigorous multi-step safety process that includes thousands of tests—from ingredients to daily quality checks. We’re committed to openness—here’s a clear look at the key ingredients in our diapers.
| Ingredient | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Sodium Polyacrylate | Superabsorbent material that instantly absorbs wetness to keep baby's skin dry and comfortable. |
| Polypropylene | A common material that delivers softness, durability, and protection |
| Polyethylene | A common material that delivers softness, breathability, and protection. |
| Cellulose | Wood fibers that soak up liquid. Sourced from FSC®-certified forests and other controlled sources and processed without elemental chlorine. |
| Polyester | A commonly used fiber that delivers softness and spreads wetness evenly across the diaper for optimized absorption. |
| Adhesive | Keeps diaper layers securely together. The adhesives we use are underneath the layers of the diaper that do not touch baby's skin. |
| Pigment | Safe, skin-friendly colors for cute designs. The pigments we use are in tiny amounts and are away from baby's skin. |
| Spandex | A stretchy, latex-free material for a snug fit around legs and waist. |
| Emollient | A gentle balm that helps keep baby's skin soft and healthy. |
| Wetness Indicator | A pH sensitive material that changes color when wet with urine, indicating it's time to change the diaper. The wetness indicator we use doesn't touch baby's skin. |

"Great for Sensitive Skin, But Sizing Runs Small"
Cassy
“We’ve been using Pampers Pure Protection Training Underwear and love that they’re gentle on my son’s sensitive skin—he hasn’t had any rashes, which is great since we’ve had similar luck with the Pure Protection diapers in size 7. However, the 4T-5T size in the training underwear runs small. They’re a bit too snug and low on the back side. Unfortunately, every time he has a bowel movement, it leaks out the top. I really wish Pampers offered a 5T-6T option for kids who are between sizes or on the taller side. They make that size in the easy ups. These would be perfect if the fit were better.”
"4.5"

“We love these pull ups for my special needs son. The fit him comfortably now i wish they made the 5t-6t like they do in the regular pampers pull ups. Other than that we love them.”
"Terrible rash"
Amy
“Thought these would not cause the infamous “Pampers rash” but we were wrong. After 2 days my son broke out in a very bad rash everywhere these training pants covered, not due to being wet or soiled as we had no pants on him and constantly taking him to his training potty so these stayed pretty dry. I thought these were the regular ones until I saw the website to make this review and discovered the ones we bought were supposed to be free of so many irritants. He doesn’t get this rash with the other 2 brands we’ve tried, we just wanted the soft stretch sides instead of those scratchy resealable strips.”
