No, only select products are made with fragrance. We have multiple fragrance free options such as AMORE diapers, Swaddlers Ultra diapers, Aqua Pure wipes, Ultraclean wipes, Sensitive wipes, and Complete Clean wipesst safety standards. We will NEVER use an ingredient that poses a safety concern to your baby.

Pampers diapers are made from carefully selected and evaluated materials that work together to keep your baby comfortable, dry, and protected. These include:

• Sodium Polyacrylate that locks liquid away from skin.

• Soft fibers like polypropylene and polyester. Polypropylene brings comfort to the diaper in contact with skin, and polyester draws moisture into the absorbent layers.

• Polyethylene film to provide a waterproof yet breathable outer cover.

• Cellulose fibers coming from FSC®-certified forests and other controlled sources. [TBC by country]

• Adhesives to safely hold layers together and add designs away from baby’s skin.

• Pigments for fun designs and to make our diapers easier to use.

• Spandex in cuffs and waistbands for a snug fit and to prevent leaks.

• Emollient on the topsheet to help maintain healthy skin.

Yes! All Pampers products are safe. Our diapers, pants, and wipes use carefully selected and trusted ingredients that are commonly used in diapers & wipes and are safely used by millions of babies every day. We never use ingredients like elemental chlorine bleaching, latex (natural rubber), and disperse dyes in our products. All our diapers are dermatologically tested and recommended by the Skin Health Alliance as safe for baby skin. Each diaper goes through thousands of daily quality checks and follows a strict four-step safety process—from sourcing trusted ingredients to thorough evaluation and real-time monitoring on production lines.

Sodium polyacrylate is the super-absorbent material at the heart of the diaper. It locks liquid away from the baby's skin, keeping it dry and comfortable. Fun fact: it has a high absorbing capacity and can absorb up to 30x its weight in urine! It was invented in the 80s and became a key ingredient in disposable diapers. It is proven to be safe for baby use. It is kept inside the absorbent core, away from the skin. At Pampers, our superabsorbent material acts very fast. It locks wetness at the heart of the diaper in just a few seconds to prevent wetness from coming into contact with the skin. This helps prevent leaks and keeps the baby's bottom dry for up to 12 hours.

This soft fiber brings comfort to the diaper parts in contact with skin. It helps pull wetness away from a baby's skin into the absorbent core, keeping the baby dry and comfortable. Polypropylene is safe and widely used in medical textiles.

Polyethylene is mainly used as a thin and protective film in the outercover to prevent leaks. It acts like a barrier that prevents wetness from passing through, while still allowing air to circulate so your baby’s skin can breathe. It is widely used in medical products, which means it is carefully tested and safe for everyday contact.

This is a natural fiber derived from wood that absorbs and channels wetness to the core of the diaper. Cellulose provides comfort as well to the baby when they sit, as it helps give a little cushion to their bottom. It is bleached with an Elemental Chlorine Free process. The cellulose we use comes from FSC® certified forests and other controlled sources. [TBC by each country as FCS is not everywhere]

This technical fiber is specially designed to acquire and spread wetness horizontally on the diaper.

Adhesives are essential to hold the different diaper layers together to prevent leaks and to provide skin comfort. The adhesives are sealed between layers, never touching the baby’s skin. At Pampers, we use safe, solvent-free, non-sensitizing adhesives. Pampers diapers are recommended by the dermatologists of Skin Health Alliance.

Pigment-based inks are used to print fun designs, characters, and to indicate different parts on the diapers. Pigments in general have a relatively large molecular weight, are not soluble in water, and are unlikely to be absorbed through the skin. They are applied only on the outside of the diaper, away from the baby’s skin. Pigments are commonly used in a wide range of products, including textiles, toys, packaging materials, paper, school chalk, and crayons. The spandex we use is free of natural rubber latex. This material is not in contact with baby skin as it is covered by polypropylene to provide a soft touch next to their skin. You can find it in the leg cuffs, back pocket, and waistband to provide a gentle, customizable fit of the diaper and help prevent leakage.

Yes. We use a color-changing indicator that reacts to wetness to let parents know when it’s time to change the diaper. It is used in tiny amounts and never touches the skin. Most Pampers diapers have a wetness indicator. Check the packaging to find this feature! Pampers products are recommended by dermatologists of the Skin Health Alliance.

Our recommendation for Pampers diapers is to use them within 12 months of opening the pack. Unopened, we recommend use within 3 years. When it comes to our wipes, they indeed have an expiry date, and you can find it on the packaging. Our recommendation is to use them within 3 months after opening.
