This World Prematurity Day (November 17th), Pampers is introducing the world’s tiniest diaper, a Swaddlers size Preemie extra extra small, or Pxxs. This is the fourth and smallest preemie diaper in the Pampers’ Preemie Collection, designed in collaboration with leading medical authorities, NICU professionals, and our internal team of nurses, R&D and designers.
More than a smaller version of a Pampers diaper, Pxxs diapers are specifically designed for the unique challenges of infants born less than 500 grams. Pxxs diapers are made for extremely premature skin, using premium soft materials to help prevent abrasion of babies’ underdeveloped skin.
As medical science advances to care for these tiny babies, Pampers works to develop safe, superior products to meet their unique needs. Because the strongest fighters need the gentlest armor.
March of Dimes
For over 25 years, Pampers has partnered with March of Dimes to improve the health of mothers and babies. Throughout this long-standing partnership, Pampers has donated more than 500,000 diapers and supported programs that deliver professional training, scholarships and vital resources for families nationwide.
This November during World Prematurity Awareness Month, Pampers is continuing its commitment to the advancement of care for the most vulnerable babies with a donation to the March of Dimes NICU Family Support® program. This program provides education, comfort and life-changing guidance for more than 50,000 families each year as they navigate the challenges of a newborn’s stay in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU).
